

Why Virtual
Next to our in-person HMP, we are offering a virtual version which consists of online training, featuring content based on experience level, market segment, and hotel brand. You'll join fellow hoteliers as you explore topics such as Revenue Management, Operations, Sales, Wyndham Rewards, Guest Experience etc. Coursework will be delivered through a mix of self-paced eLearning, live webinars (registration required), videos, and downloadable materials.
Flexibility: You can choose when is it best for you to attend a course since each course will be offered 2-3 times within a period of 6 weeks. Flexibility not only in terms of time and date but also in terms of choosing your own learning environment that works best for your needs: be it your office, your living room, or elsewhere.
Save costs: Attending the vHMP also means that your hotel will save cost as there is no Travel or Daily Delegate Rate attached to it. You no longer have to worry about booking a hotel room, flights, transportation, or submitting expense reports upon returning.
Control your own progress: The pressure to keep up with other attendees in a face-to-face environment is removed. You will complete the courses during live webinars because the concepts and material are easy for you to understand but if you need extra time to make some of the more unfamiliar topics stick with you, you can listen to the recordings afterward.
Gain technical skills: You will strengthen your technical skills, a definite plus for our current world. You will likely need to utilize digital learning materials, get familiar with new tools and software, and troubleshoot common issues.
Virtual Communication Skills: Learning to work with others in a virtual environment can make you a more effective communicator. As the program progresses, you will get better at sharing ideas and making strong professional arguments through text, communicate your ideas clearly, and projecting a professional image in a virtual workplace.
Time Management: By successfully earning your HMP certification online, you are enhancing your management and are self-motivation, tackling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and adapting to changing work conditions.
